I wonder why. I wonder why
I wonder why I wonder
I wonder why I wonder why
I wonder why I wonder
[Surely You’re Joking, Mr. Feynmen!]
There were moments when I think of something and I wonder why I think of it this way or that way.. What builds my perspective ?
There were moments when I did somethin bad and I felt guilty. I wonder why I felt guilty..what builds my inner value ?
There were moments when I imagine of attending my own funeral. I wonder how would it be..How I wanna be remembered?
Metacognologists believe that the ability to consciously think about thinking is unique to sapient species and indeed is one of the definitions of sapience..[1]

Have you read the previous story about the four ages? You sure know where we are. YaP! We’re at the fourth age, or what is so called “The Information Age”. Information age is marked with the abundant of information. We got information from television, radio, news paper, magazine, not to mention the internet.
The thing is, everybody can provide information on the internet. It seems that everyone can’t resist to give their opinion. Sometimes, I feel overwhelmed by those information, the amount and the speed it reaches me from all direction. In fact, I’m not the only one. This guy named, David Shenk, feel it too and he wrote it on his book “Data Smog: Surviving the Information Glut”
Awareness is arise, mostly in countries where internet has been long used, like US. They come with the term Information Literacy. This is not just for college students but all of us, as professionals, in the workplace and in our personal lives. Being information literate ultimately improves our quality of life as we make informed decisions when choosing a major, completing assignments, hiring staff, voting for our president, and so much more. Information Literacy is, in fact, the basis of a sound democracy.
According to American Library Asscosiation (ALA), an information literate individual is able to:
Determine the nature and the extent of information needed. What exactly do you need to know, for example, if you want to find a topic for your writing, you need to specify it. You cant just open google and write “topic for writing”. Well, technicaly you can but you’ll find a looooooooooot more than you need.
Access the needed information effectively and efficiently. This includes searching through databases for information, browsing through linked Web sites for information, etc
Evaluate information and its sources critically. This includes the ability to judge the quality, relevance, authority, point of view/bias, currency, coverage or accuracy of digital information.
Incorporate selected information into one’s knowledge base. This includes the ability to use ICT tools to synthesize, summarize, compare and contrast information from multiple digital sources.
Use information effectively to accomplish a specific purpose.
Understand the economic, legal, and social issues surrounding the use of information, and access and use information ethically and legally. Avoid plagiarism and always try to respect the ideas of others.
Come to think of it, it isn’t so much a “skill” as it is a mindset about how we deal with information, the world around us, and how we create knowledge.
Even the famous ETS, which helds TOEFL, GRE and GMAT, now has a special test for information literacy proficiency specially design for academic environment, iSkill.

“It began in the future. A time machine called TRAX, criminals who vanish, and a lawman who must pursue into the past. Now he is among us, a special breed of man. He has one weapon and a computer called Selma. With her, he will travel through our world, searching for fugitives from his own, knowing he cannot go home until he has found them all. His name is Darien Lambert and this is not his story.”[1]
1,000,000 B.C. - 6,000 B.C.[2]
People supported their living by hunting and gathering food. They used simple tools like stone to help them. Life seemed very slow and boring.
6,000 B.C. - 1750 A.D.
People began to raise crops and to domesticate farm animals. The ability to store and accumulate food produced major societal changes, cities began to emerge. “Three R’s”, Reading, wRiting and aRithmetic were invented and contributed greatly to the accumulation of human knowledge, though it was very slow.
Mid-15th Century, things began to change as a men named Johannes Gutenberg came with the advent of the printing press. His invention led to the mass production of book and the more widespread of knowledge.[3]
1750 A.D. - 1975 A.D.
Industrial Revolution began in Great Britain and soon spread all over the world. Many people worked in the factory as labors. Many great invention were made. One led to another, electricity, vacuum tubes, the internal combustion engine, and the jet engine were still to come. These facilitated such devices as the telegraph, telephone, electric motors, electric lights, automobile, airplane, radio, and television.
1975 A.D. - 2008
The first general pupose electronic-computer called ENIAC, short for Electronic Numerical Integrator And Computer, was conceived and designed by John Mauchly and J. Presper Eckert. It’s unbelievably large and heavy. Thanks to the inventor of transistor and IC, it’s getting smaller and smaller. Another notable invention called internet is made. Since then people were overwhelmed by the over abundant information. More information was produced in the last 20 years than the previous 5,000. It changed the way people do business, government, and education. People still on the move towards the advance artificial intelligence and ubiquitous computing…
“Unfortunately, note from 2009-future haven’t been found. Some scientist believe it was missing during the period of many natural disaster on earth…“

Instead of saying this,
Galilean invariance or Galilean relativity is a principle of relativity which states that the fundamental laws of physics are the same in all inertial frames.
Specifically, the term Galilean invariance today usually refers to this principle as applied to Newtonian mechanics, that is, Newton’s laws hold in all inertial frames. In this context it is sometimes called Newtonian relativity.
Among the axioms from Newton’s theory are:
- There exists an absolute space, in which Newton’s laws are true. An inertial frame is a reference frame in relative uniform motion to absolute space.
- All inertial frames share a universal time.
Galilean relativity can be shown as follows. Consider two inertial frames S and S’ . A physical event in S will have position coordinates r = (x, y, z) and time t; similarly for S’ . By the second axiom above, one can synchronize the clock in the two frames and assume t = t’ . Suppose S’ is in relative uniform motion to S with velocity v. Consider a point object whose position is given by r = r(t) in S. We see that

The velocity of the particle is given by the time derivative of the position:

Another differentiation gives the acceleration in the two frames:

It is this simple but crucial result that implies Galilean relativity. Assuming that mass is invariant in all inertial frames, the above equation shows Newton’s laws of mechanics, if valid in one frame, must hold for all frames. But it is assumed to hold in absolute space, therefore Galilean relativity holds.
Mr.Joe M, my imaginary physics teacher, showed me this animation to answer my question about galilean relativity.
This movie requires Flash Player 8
I love Mr. Joe M

Titi & Tita are identical twins. Although they’re identical by appearance they have different personalities. Tita’s a hyperactive girl, she talks a lot while Titi’s, on the contrary, very shy. They went to the same elementary school but to different classes.Tita’s a little impish, she likes to put insect to her friends bag, hides their stuff and so on just to make her day. After school, they usually meet at the school cafeteria to share their story while waiting for their driver arrives. There, Tita tells Titi every little crime she did. She tells the story in an amusing way that makes Titi laugh.
One day, as usual, they met at the cafeteria. Tita told Titi that she had just hide Toto’s mathematics book on the library bookshelf. The book’s very crucial coz they’re going to have mathematics exam in the next morning. She said that Toto looked everywhere in school but he couldn’t find it. He looked so pale and he almost cried. She couldn’t stop laughing.
This time, instead of laughing with her, Titi started to cry. Tita’s stunned. She asked her why she cried. Titi told her that today she lost her notebooks with her homeworks on it. She looked everywhere but she cant find it. As a result, her killer teacher scolded her in front of the class. It was very humiliating.
Tita can picture the whole story her twin just told her. She saw it vividly as she saw it today in Toto’s face, eyes filled with tears as he looked into the whole school. All of a sudden..it’s not so funny anymore. Tita then run into the library…
:: for a best friend, sorry I made you feel guilty
